A Practical Budget For WebGL Launch Sites

The rendering, texture, shader, and fallback decisions we make before opening a scene file.

The expensive mistake in interactive work is treating craft and operations as separate worlds. The audience experiences the page as one continuous system: loading, motion, text, response, fallback, and recovery.

Make the system visible early

We prototype the riskiest behaviors first because a beautiful direction that cannot perform is not a direction. It is a liability with nice screenshots.

Design for degraded states

High-end digital work should be generous to older devices, slow networks, assistive technology, and people who simply want the information without the theatre.

Ship with receipts

Every launch should leave behind a maintainable system: documented components, clear analytics, explicit owners, and a rollback path.
